Marketing association A30 - Küchenmeile e.V. opens up for supporting members

5 August 2025

The marketing association A30 - Küchenmeile e.V., which has been a key player in the kitchen industry for over 25 years and represents around 85 per cent of the German kitchen furniture industry, is opening its doors to new partners. Since September last year, companies from the areas of large domestic appliances, sinks and taps, waste separation systems and worktops have been able to join as supporting members. This strategic approach is aimed at further expanding the internationally recognised industry event KM Küchenmeile and creating new synergies together with manufacturers from other sectors of the kitchen industry. Renowned companies such as the water place specialist Blanco and the largest Swiss household appliance manufacturer V-Zug decided to become a supporting member in September last year and have been working closely with Küchenmeile ever since.
Over the years, the KM Küchenmeile has developed into a cross-industry sector event with an international reputation and attracts around 25,000 visitors from Germany and abroad every year. The proportion of foreign visitors is between 35 and 40 per cent. By opening up the event to supporting members, the aim is to further strengthen this image and expand the importance of the trade fair as a central meeting point for the kitchen industry both nationally and internationally.

Advantages of a supporting membership
A supporting membership offers industrial companies the opportunity to present their products and innovations to a broad specialist audience. The prerequisite is annual participation in the Küchenmeile with its own exhibition in the defined catchment area along the A30 motorway.

The advantages at a glance:

  • Maximum visibility: Placement of the brand in a particularly relevant environment that is frequented by the right target group in the specialised kitchen trade.
  • Active co-design: Influencing strategic developments within the Community.
  • Network strengthening to create valuable synergies.

A strong community with common goals
Since its foundation in 1989, the A30 - Küchenmeile e.V. marketing association has championed the interests of its members. The focus is on promoting the image of individually planned fitted kitchens, increasing their emotional value and supporting medium-sized specialist retailers. The platform also acts as a mouthpiece for the media, the public and political decision-makers.
With the introduction of supporting membership, the association is now offering other companies the opportunity to become part of this network and actively help shape the future of this globally unique industry event.
Interested companies are cordially invited to find out about the conditions and benefits of sponsoring membership.

What makes quality visible today

A kitchen reveals its quality where nothing is left to chance. Where planning, materials and craftsmanship interlock. Where functions feel effortless and design and comfort form a single entity. It is precisely this perfect interplay that the KM Küchenmeile 2026 places at the centre.

Low-maintenance surfaces – sometimes calm and purist, sometimes featuring striking textures – form the design foundation, together with finely coordinated material and colour concepts for fronts and worktops. Intelligent storage solutions, smoothly gliding pull-outs and high-quality fitting systems equally define the comfort of a kitchen – almost silently and as a matter of course. The water station also becomes an expression of individual kitchen design. Taps, sinks and innovative drinking water systems can be precisely matched in material, colour and finish to the furniture concept or purposefully used as a design statement. The same applies to domestic appliances, which can either blend in discreetly or shape the character of a kitchen as a striking design element.

Display cabinets, sideboards and lowboards extend this design ethos beyond the kitchen. Different glass options, lighting displays and high-quality materials combine cooking, dining and living into a seamless living space. This commitment to quality continues even behind the fronts – with well-thought-out organisational systems and an interior as carefully designed as the exterior.

The following examples from our member companies show how multifaceted this interaction is implemented today – and whet the appetite for the KM Küchenmeile 2026, where these developments can be experienced in all their diversity.

The Art of Omission

Following the merging of kitchen and living space, design itself moves more into focus. Quiet colour palettes, warm natural tones and carefully coordinated materials are taking the place of striking contrasts. Matte surfaces and fine relief and grooved textures lend the kitchens depth without breaking the calm overall effect.
