What awaits you in East Westphalia
Adaptive Living | Part 2
The look ahead to the KM Küchenmeile 2026 continues. Part two also demonstrates how differently manufacturers are responding to personal design preferences, changing living arrangements and specific functional requirements. New dimensions and storage solutions are expanding planning options for various spatial conditions. Furniture ranges and lighting concepts continue the design into adjacent living areas, while connected household appliances increasingly manage tasks independently. The second part of the preview of the KM Küchenmeile, taking place from 19 to 25 September in East Westphalia, reveals the concepts manufacturers associate with this.

IMPULS KITCHENS
New dimensions for more space
Impuls Küchen is using its debut appearance at house4kitchen for two new planning concepts. The HIGHline, with a carcase height of 79.5 centimetres, creates additional storage space and enables ergonomically tailored working heights. XSkitchen, on the other hand, is aimed at rooms under 2.10 metres and combines compact dimensions with short-notice availability. Both concepts are presented under the trade fair motto „Impuls Küchen – SIMPLY more.“

KH SYSTEM FURNITURE
New contours for open living spaces
Under the banner of „Kitchen meets living space: connecting living environments“, KH System Möbel is expanding its design options in several directions. Five new PerfectSense solid colours bring natural nuances into the scheme, while dark hardware carries the cohesive look through to the very last detail. Rounded panels give kitchen units and islands softer contours and support fluid transitions into the living area.

LIGHT
Panta rhei: Space as a continuum
Le Corbusier's idea of flowing space forms the conceptual starting point for LEICHT's 2027 collection. Under the guiding theme „Where space creates connection“, the architectural brand interprets the kitchen, dining and living areas as a spatial continuum. VERO NOVA transfers this approach to the modular VERO display cabinet system: vertically arranged real wood slats in oak or walnut combine with transparent glass surfaces and can be continued across several cabinets without visible interruption. Coordinated interior finishes and veneer surfaces make it possible to carry the materiality through the entire design.

Miele
How close is the end of the coursework?
Just how close Miele is already getting to its thoroughly confident trade fair motto, „The end of housework is in sight“, can be experienced at Gut Böckel. There, the company is posing the question of how intelligent technology, design and sustainability can interact to noticeably simplify everyday life in the kitchen. This ambition is illustrated particularly vividly in the G8 Diamond dishwasher: a camera recognises what crockery is inside and how heavily loaded the machine is. Together with automatic dispensing and variable hot-air drying, this creates a washing process that largely organises itself. When it comes to cooking, Miele spans the arc from the initial idea to controlled preparation. While the CulinaryCoach determines the appropriate settings for the oven from a recipe, a description or a photo, the KM 8000 hob and M Sense cookware continuously coordinate with each other during the cooking process. Visitors can discover what other new products Miele is bringing together under its trade fair motto at Gut Böckel.

NOBILIA
When an idea becomes a home
„From vision to home“ describes at nobilia the journey from the initial planning idea to a cohesive interior design concept. At the in-house exhibition, the manufacturer connects new products for the kitchen, bathroom, living and sleeping areas through shared materials and colour worlds. Warm tones such as sand, macchiato, taupe grey and coffee create design continuity between the areas. Textured surfaces in wood and ceramic looks give the calm tone-in-tone designs depth and a striking tactile feel.

Nolte Küchen
From kitchen image to room image
Under the trade fair motto „Something’s cooking“, Nolte Küchen is looking beyond individual kitchen furniture with its 2027 innovations. Front extensions and large-format niche cladding continue colors and materials into the room, creating calm, cohesive surfaces. Warm wood finishes, new shades and quartz stone worktops emphasize the homely effect. „Made to match“ stands for an interplay in which the kitchen, fittings and room are harmoniously coordinated in terms of design.

PRONORM
Individualism has a system
Personal style follows no fixed programme. This is precisely where pronorm comes in with four product lines on a shared platform: colours, materials, fronts and functions can be combined across different programmes and price groups. Under the trade fair motto „FEELS LIKE YOU“, the manufacturer is continuing this principle in 2027. New tactile surfaces, organically guided shapes and flowing transitions between the kitchen and living spaces expand the scope for planning. pronorm will be demonstrating how individual room concepts can be developed from this in Vlotho from 19 to 25 September.

SAXONY KITCHENS
Beyond the Straight Linen
With „Beyond Straight Lines – New Perspectives for Kitchen and Living“, Sachsenküchen is expanding the geometric repertoire of kitchen planning. Radii of 80 and 200 millimetres guide surfaces around panels, cabinets and shelving, making kitchen runs and islands appear as cohesive volumes. The new recessed grip profiles Basic and Accent become architectural details with more than 40 decorative inserts and optionally dimmable lighting. NELA in solid wood and a Japandi design featuring dark oak and linoleum provide contrasting material accents.

SCHRÖDER KITCHENS
A little ahead of the timess
As the trade fair motto „100 years of living individuality“ already announces, Schröder Küchen is celebrating its centenary without making its own history the sole theme. As a family-run industrial manufactory, the company combines precise production with the freedom to embrace new materials, design trends and planning requirements at an early stage. This openness also characterises the anniversary collection, in which two models develop different design languages: A continuous frame gives the layout architectural order, while a wave contour models the front out from the surface. Technically, the designs are complemented by new flap fittings from Blum.

SCHÜLLER
Light as part of the architecture
Under the trade fair motto „Light. Life. Kitchen. Added value for the home.“, Schüller is focusing on the effect of light on furniture and rooms. The new LumiQ system is treated as an integral part of the design and is fully integrated into the design software. With a consistent carcase depth of 61 centimetres for C2, X2 and SX2, Schüller is also creating a uniform dimensional basis across three systems. Fronts with a striking texture and expressive worktop decors expand the concept to include a deliberately staged materiality.

V-ZUG
The new tone of the hob
To mark the Küchenmeile 2026, V-ZUG is giving a preview of the CookTop V6000 Integra for 2027 in the Architekturwerkstatt. Its monolithic surface made of natural minerals gives the hob an understated, tranquil presence. Characterful colour variants make it possible to match the appliance to the surrounding interior or to create a deliberate focal point. In this way, V-ZUG combines integration into kitchen architecture with design individuality.
