For more than 20 years now, the Kitchen Mile has been leading visitors to renowned kitchen furniture manufacturers and their suppliers. The manufacturers' annual HAUSMESSEN and their always open doors for kitchen specialists, architects and building contractors from all over the world have contributed to the fact that the regions around the local kitchen furniture industry, which are still far from being fully developed for tourism, are also attracting more and more international interest. Reason enough for the business promotion organisations of the districts of Herford and Osnabrück to lend even more emphasis to this positive development through their support. The aim of the cross-district activities is to make the region along the A30 motorway even more attractive for the numerous visitors.

This effect is to be used to make the "A30 location", with its young population structure compared to the rest of Germany, its interesting commercial and industrial areas, and its optimal quality of life and living, even more of a focus for domestic and foreign visitors.
